City & Guilds is widely recognized and it has delivered more than 10,000 training skill to the centres around the world.

International Vocational Qualification

International Vocational Qualification (MQA) are designed to demonstrate that learners have both technical and knowledge in ability to carry out practical in the real industry.

The required underpinning knowledge is measured by one or more theory tests which could be multiple choices or written examination. Practical skills are assessed through assignments and observation of tasks relating to the job that learners are trained.

City & Guilds and WorldSkills

WorldSkills is the highlight of the international skills calendar and has, represented in vocational excellence for the last 50 years. Every two years of highly skilled young people from across the world gather to compete, test their ability in a wide variety of trades and specialism – example is mechatronics.

MIT Academy collaborates with Chisholm, Institute, one of the largest and fastest growing Government funded vocational education in Melbourne. Chisholm is known for its offers with over 330 certificates, diploma, advanced diploma and graduate certificate training courses.

Every year Chisholm welcomes new and returning students from over 44 countries who have choose to pursue specialized education and training programs. Chisholm has up to 40,000 students in six locations at the South East of Melbourne – a vibrant growth region and the multicultural and industrial heart of Melbourne.

To ensure the student has what it takes to be in the industry, MIT Academy works closely with The Department of Skills Development, formerly as The National Vocational Training Council. It is also one of the agencies under the Human Resource Ministry that coordinates and control of skills training as well as career development ion skills training which in line with the implementation of the National Skills Development of the National Skills Development act, 652 (2006) on September 1, 2006.
